Happy Valentines Day

Crafty me !

Im always amazed by what other crafty people can create on there sewing machines and this year im going to try new things that I see and love for myself.

So today I tryed my hand at a crayon purse for the boys to hold their crayons and paper in while were out and about. I got this idea off  http://www.etsy.com/  which is one of my favorite sites. There is far too many talented people on that site and im easily able to spend many moments browsing all the fab creations.

So here you go this is todays creation........

This button was all I hads so im going to get one  in a matching colour.

And I need to add the pad paper.

Teddys Picnic

 We ventured into the woods today, Albany Park to be excact for the Teddys Bears Picnic.

There were farm animals to pet and lots to toys to play with

Simply a lovely day out, free of charge and with glorious weather.

What a great way to spend a Saturday.

Ribbet !!

These are the newest member of the Strang Clan, two tadpoles.

Max is wanting to see then turn into frog and of course as every four year old does he expects it to happen in minutes.

So the waiting begins, lets hope they survive living in a four year olds' room.

Stillwater Dinner

We are finally able to have the night off from cooking dinner in out small part of the world.

Some clever guy saw the need for a takeaway place here in Stillwater and it has been running for a week now so we felt the urge to try it out..

So as it was a beautiful evening in Auckland we headed down for a late afternoon swim and dinner over looking the water. Bliss

I love a good Cook !

Something I love to do is smooze thru gorgeous Cook Books, I dont follow thru much and create these cullinary delights but looking thru these beautifully photographed is some how inspiring.

A $2 shop Kite proved a couple of hours fun for my boys till the wind got the better of it. Oh well thats $2 shop stuff for ya.
