Wooops its been a while

Ive been slack, it must be the weather but im going to get organised now and blog more. I have a new laptop (working on the camera now HA HA )
Great day here in Auckland, sun was shining and my washing's all dry, naturally.

We spent the afternoon at a 5th Birthday party. It was Max's first party with games and he had a ball, the big thrill was the real policeman who came along and hung out with the boys.

Oh and were on the move again after 2 years in lovely Stillwater we heading closer to town as were spending too much time in the car.

Love a good bargin !!!!

This was on the sale table at Whitcoulls today for $5.

Ive looked at this book a few times and wished I could give these cute Softies a try but a $39 it was a little too expencive so I was delighted to pick up this bargin YAY !

Easter Hunt

Ohhh it been a while since ive blogged but its been busy. The boys enjoyed Easter and were thrilled that the Easter Bunny had stopped in over night and left some treats in the garden.

Dress up Day !

This week it was dress up time for the Pirates and Fairys Picnic.

We had morning tea with our friends Emma, Ollie and Cameron and played in the park with all the other Pirates and fairies it was a great morning and so fun seeing the kids all dressed up. 

We meet this friendly guy in the florist the other morning.

He got into my handbag which was a real risk cause most this that go in there are never to be seen again !

In a Hurry !!

Im always in a hurry in the morning, so it wasnt a surprise when we were out and about the other morning that I looked down and saw my son had the wrong jandals on !!!!

Note to self, slow down in the morning and always check everyones feet !

Family Day Out

Last weekend we packed our lunch and headed for the beach, the rugged  west coast.

It was a fab day and we walk the track to see the baby Gannets which was were cute.

Then it was off to the beach for lunch and a swim.

This was our project to recycle the boxes from the weekly shopping

Stay at Home Mondays

Monday is a stay at home day for us as were usally out and about in the weekend so its nice to just mooch around on the first day of the week and catch up on washing, baking and other bits and bobs.

The boys like to help me bake something to go in the weeks lunch boxes and I try to find a new reciepe to temp the taste buds. Each Moday im going to blog on our cruzy start to the week .

Today we had great fun making and playing with "Gloop" which is just a mixture of water, food colouring and cornflour. This is a sure fire was of keeping the littlies happy for ages and it washes away in water.

Then it was kitchen time and we made cheese twists and stewed fruit for pudding with the cheap $2 seconds fruit from the vegie shop YUMMY !

FLASHBACK

My "baby" turned Two this week and how fast it has gone !

We have come thru the baby stage unscathed and healthy and all the "baby gear is packed away !

Jay has been a delight everyday of his two years and he is loved very much.

Happy Valentines Day

Crafty me !

Im always amazed by what other crafty people can create on there sewing machines and this year im going to try new things that I see and love for myself.

So today I tryed my hand at a crayon purse for the boys to hold their crayons and paper in while were out and about. I got this idea off  http://www.etsy.com/  which is one of my favorite sites. There is far too many talented people on that site and im easily able to spend many moments browsing all the fab creations.

So here you go this is todays creation........

This button was all I hads so im going to get one  in a matching colour.

And I need to add the pad paper.

Teddys Picnic

 We ventured into the woods today, Albany Park to be excact for the Teddys Bears Picnic.

There were farm animals to pet and lots to toys to play with

Simply a lovely day out, free of charge and with glorious weather.

What a great way to spend a Saturday.

Ribbet !!

These are the newest member of the Strang Clan, two tadpoles.

Max is wanting to see then turn into frog and of course as every four year old does he expects it to happen in minutes.

So the waiting begins, lets hope they survive living in a four year olds' room.
